Today's excerpt is from the fabulous Renee Rose. Faye was trying to distract her landlord Cade from collecting the rent she owes him. She's accidentally turned his feet into flippers. He's just spanked her and demanded she turn them back:

She stood up and her jeans fell down to her ankles. She bent over to grab the waist.

“Uh-uh. Leave them. Your time is running out.”

She popped back up to stand, looking even more frightened. Swallowing, she held one hand over her crotch and pointed the wand at him, closing her eyes. As she drew a shape with the tip of the wand, he felt a searing pain in his feet—flippers. Rather than transform, they grew, stretching until they were nearly a foot wide and two feet long.

“That’s not funny!” he bellowed, pulling her upper body over his shoulder and snatching the wand from her hand. It made a perfect spanking implement and he applied it with gusto to the little bottom quivering in front of him. On and on he spanked as she clawed at his back with her nails.

“Stop! No more!” she whimpered. “Please!”

He could not see any good reason to stop, though. She had cursed him with flippers, then mocked his request to turn them back. On top of that, she owed him fourteen hundred bucks for rent, which he figured she didn’t have. So no, he wasn’t going to stop this time until she learned her lesson. He held her in place, applying the wand with a steady beat until she broke down. He continued through her first sob and into the second.

“It was an accident,” she wailed. “I didn’t mean to do it. I just s-s-s-suck at magick!” she sobbed.

He stopped spanking, tapping her bottom with the wand. “Is that true?”

“Yes! I was trying to make you forget I owed you money, just for a few days until I could get it.” She gave a big sniff.

He continued tapping the wand on her swollen moons. “You were trying to make me forget and instead you turned my feet to flippers?” he asked, allowing disbelief to seep through in his tone.

“I know it sounds impossible, but it’s true. I have no idea why your feet turned to flippers or why they won’t turn back.”

He gave an exaggerated sigh and pulled her to stand. “That is the dumbest story I have ever been given when collecting rent.”

She took a shuddering breath, wiped her tear-stained face, and tugged her t-shirt lower to hide her pussy. “It’s true,” she said, her lower lip protruding in a way that made him want to bite it. Or maybe suck it. Somehow ravish it.

He tugged her to sit on his lap, her bare bottom connecting with his jean-clad thigh, her panties still around her legs.

“I’m sorry,” she sniffed.

He sighed. “I didn’t even know you were a witch.”

“I’m not a witch!” she exclaimed, as if offended.

“No?” He lifted her hair to peek at her dainty ears, discovering they had little points at the top. “Oh, right. Faye the Fey. I should have guessed, I suppose.” It was not the moment to tell her that her ears were cute, but he had to fight the urge to lean over and nibble at them.

As if she picked up on his train of thought, her eyes narrowed and she stiffened on his lap.

In a world where fairy tales and real life collide, in which truth is sometimes stranger than fiction and romance and fetish are the norm, a winter storm forces a cast of characters to converge at a unique lodge, and three interwoven tales are set in motion.

Jillian and her brother narrowly escape a wolf attack, thanks to a shapeshifter, Bertram. As the owner of the lodge, Bertram opens Jillian’s eyes to a whole new world filled with spanking and so much more. Will she keep fighting her submission, or allow herself the chance for true love?

Coral is a fugitive—hiding from herself, her true desires, and the sea witch to whom she owes a great debt. She fears showing real emotion and letting herself be free, but Jake Hill’s dominating presence beckons her to yield to him—not just her body, but her heart, mind, and soul. When the sea witch demands retribution, though, she may lose the one man she has come to trust.

When Faye blunders while casting a spell upon her landlord, he claims her as his slave until she can undo the magic, and she finds herself subject to his firm discipline. As her attraction to him grows, Faye fears she will give in to the handsome shifter and forever lose her maidenhood, and consequently her powers and the ability to fix her mistake.

Even as all three women struggle with surrendering to the dominant men they have fallen for, each finds herself on a journey to discover her true self. Can they find a way to yield to love without losing themselves in the process?

Publisher’s Note: The Winter Storm is an erotic romance novel that includes spankings, anal play, sexual scenes, age play, exhibitionism, elements of BDSM, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.
